Legal bases

We process personal data only where there is a legal basis for doing so. Depending on the processing activity, the following legal bases may apply:

Retention period

Unless a specific retention period is stated in this Privacy Policy, we retain personal data only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose. The data will then be deleted unless statutory retention obligations, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or other legal grounds require continued storage.

Recipients of personal data

Within our business, personal data is accessible only to persons who require it to handle your enquiry or order.

We may use technical or other service providers that process personal data on our behalf. This includes, in particular, our hosting provider. Where required, data processing agreements pursuant to Article 28 GDPR have been concluded with these providers.

Data is disclosed to other recipients only where this is necessary to process or perform an order, where you have consented or where we are legally required to do so. Depending on the order, recipients may include production partners, delivery or shipping providers and tax or financial authorities.

No automated decision-making

Server log files are retained only for as long as required for the operation and security of the website. They may be retained for longer where there are specific indications of a security incident, abuse or unlawful access.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider. The servers are located in Germany.

5. SSL or TLS encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security purposes and to protect the transmission of confidential information. An encrypted connection can generally be identified by the address beginning with “https://” and the lock symbol displayed by your browser.

When encryption is active, information transmitted to us through the website cannot generally be read by third parties during transmission. Nevertheless, complete protection of electronically transmitted information cannot be guaranteed.

6. Cookies and technically necessary storage

This website uses only cookies or similar storage technologies that are required for the technical operation of the website or for functions expressly requested by you.

Technically necessary cookies may be used, in particular, to maintain a session, secure forms, store the selected language or remember a privacy setting you have selected.

Where storing information on or accessing information from your device is strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by you, this is carried out on the basis of Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Where personal data is processed, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technically correct, secure and user-friendly operation of the website.

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling purposes.

You can configure your browser to block cookies or delete them when the browser is closed. Completely blocking technically necessary cookies may restrict individual website functions, particularly forms.

7. Contact by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request and respond to any follow-up questions.

The information processed may include:

  • your name and contact details,
  • your email address and telephone number,
  • the content and time of your communication,
  • information about the products or services requested,
  • order, quotation and invoicing information.

Where your communication relates to entering into or performing a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. General enquiries are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the proper handling and response to business enquiries.

Enquiries that do not result in an order are generally deleted no later than six months after they have been fully dealt with, unless statutory obligations or legitimate reasons require longer storage.

Where a contract is concluded, the information required for the contract and its performance is retained in accordance with statutory commercial and tax retention periods.

Please note that ordinary email communication is not fully protected against access by third parties. Please avoid sending particularly confidential information by unencrypted email.

8. Contact and order forms

You can use this website to send enquiries and directly request or commission services. We process the information you enter in the relevant form.

The information is processed in order to handle your enquiry, prepare a quotation, assess whether the requested work can be carried out and perform the order requested by you.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. Other contact enquiries are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Form information may be transmitted to us by email. Uploaded files may also be temporarily stored on the web server so that they can be transmitted, reviewed and used for order processing.

Uploaded files and form information that do not result in an order are generally deleted no later than six months after the matter has been fully dealt with. Where an order is placed, information required to perform and document the order is retained for as long as necessary for the contractual purpose, the handling of possible complaints and compliance with statutory retention obligations.

The information marked as mandatory is required so that we can handle your enquiry or order. Without this information, it may not be possible to submit the form or perform the order.

Please upload only files whose content is required for the enquiry or order. In particular, avoid transmitting unnecessary personal, confidential or particularly sensitive information.

9. Customer and contract information

We process personal data relating to customers and prospective customers where this is necessary to establish, perform, amend or terminate a contractual relationship.

This may include master and contact details, order information, communications, production files, invoicing information, payment information and information relating to complaints.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where data is retained to comply with commercial, tax or other statutory obligations, processing is additionally based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Once the contract has been fully performed, processing of the information will be restricted and the information will be deleted after the applicable statutory retention periods have expired, unless there are other legitimate grounds for continued storage.

Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may object at any time without giving specific reasons. We currently do not use your information for unsolicited direct marketing.
